Agata Kurzela studio in collaboration with Al Milad Marble Dubai designed the Shadow Box installation at the Dubai Design Week to showcase creative ways of using marble and other natural stone.
Our mission is to challenge the perception of natural stone as an old-fashioned material, and to reimagine the many ways in which it fits in the contemporary design aesthetic. The departure point is our belief in the honest use of material, in a way that is true to its nature rather than mimicking other materials, unless in jest or ironically.
